Question: Why should I go through the hassle and expense of getting my site to the top? Answer: Here’s a little something to chew on... Our town, Santa Barbara, California has about 91,000 residents. According to Overture (who measures these things) in March of 2005, over 12,000 people searched for “santa barbara real estate” or some similar term. That’s 400 a day. There are only 10 spots in the Top Ten, of course. If your PageOne site gets clicked 1/10 of the time, that’s 40 clicks a day. Now lets pretend that only 1 in 10 visitors to your beautiful PageOne site actually request contact or give you a call. That’s four new leads a day. Four people that are looking for real estate in Santa Barbara are contacting you. Now let’s pretend that our estimates here are wildly optimistic, and you only get ONE new hot lead a day. What would one good lead a day do to your business? Of course, some towns are going to get more and some less. But what other advertising medium comes close to this kind of result? Does your Yellow Pages ad produce this? Your ad in the newspaper? At what cost? The only thing that may come close is your personal network of local referrals, and that part we leave to you.
